Funeral directors at 2 Brecknock Road, London N7.

Tracy's Funeral Directors.

Tracy's Funeral Directors is a small, family-run independent funeral directors founded in loving memory of Tracy, who passed away in 2014 from a rare Adrenal Cancer. We bring a lifetime of dedication to our community, led by a family team with over 25 years of experience in the funeral profession. Our journey began from a place of personal loss, which is why we handle every detail with the level of care and heart that we hold for our own family.

A note from us.

Tracy's Funeral Directors is named for Tracy, and set up in her memory. We are small, independent, and answer every call ourselves.

A different approach to care

Honouring your loved ones, supporting the living.

As a not-for-profit, we operate differently so your focus can stay with your family, not the financial burden.

For families with a cause close to their hearts, we offer the choice to donate a portion of our profits to a charity related to your loved one's cause of death, such as cancer research or heart foundations.

For those not affiliated with a specific charity, we reduce our funeral costs by that same amount and pass the savings directly to you.

We recognise the profound impact of loss, especially the unique bonds shared between a mother and daughter, and the lifelong connection between siblings.

At Tracy's, we are committed to providing a sanctuary of empathy, dignity, and support. We are here to guide you through your darkest days with the same devotion we carry for Tracy every day.

About us

Named in memory of Tracy, run with the same care.

Tracy's was founded in her name to look after families across London and the surrounding areas, quietly, personally, without pressure or upsell.

We know the churches, the crematoria, the florists and the registrars. We know the streets, because we live on them. Every funeral we arrange is arranged by someone you have already met.

Families we have served

A few kind words.

They took over at a moment I could not think straight. Nothing was rushed, nothing was upsold, and the service on the day was exactly what Mum would have wanted.
S.H., Kentish Town
They sat with us at our kitchen table the first evening. By the end we knew exactly what would happen and exactly what it would cost. That is rarer than it should be.
D. & M.P., Islington
Every small thing we asked for, they made possible. Every detail on the day was quietly right. Tracy's Funeral Directors did the job the way it ought to be done.

Frequently asked

Questions we are often asked.

See all questions
What do I do if someone has just died?
We are at the end of the phone on 020 3302 0040, whenever you need us. If a death has occurred at home, we will talk you through what happens first, which depends on whether it was expected and whether a doctor has been. If it happened in hospital or a hospice, the staff there will guide you, and we can take over as soon as you are ready.
How much does a funeral cost?
Costs depend on the type of service. We give every family a written estimate before any work begins, so you know exactly what a funeral with us will cost. Please contact us for a quote. Our full Standardised Price List is also published on our pricing page and available in print in our office.
Do I have to come into the office to arrange a funeral?
No. We are glad to come to your home, anywhere in London or the surrounding areas, at a time that suits you. Many families find that easier than a formal meeting.
Can we have a non-religious or bespoke service?
Of course. We arrange religious services of every faith, humanist ceremonies, and gatherings with no formal service at all. The arrangement is entirely yours.
Are you open at the weekend?
We take calls twenty-four hours a day, every day of the year. Office visits outside standard hours can be arranged by phone.

When you are ready, we are here.

We are at the end of the phone whenever you need us, and we answer every call ourselves. Or send a message and we will come back to you the same day.
